Police have charged a Lloydminster woman with second-degree murder after a 51-year-old man was found dead in the Alberta-Saskatchewan border city Tuesday.
The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit is investigating after Mounties responded to a call around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning about a man who appeared to be dead inside a home on 47A Avenue. No other information about his death has been released.
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
Elaine Behm, 49, of Lloydminster has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Darren Behm, 51.
Elaine Behm was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and is set to appear in Lloydminster provincial court Thursday. No other suspects are being sought.
