Edmonton weather: Windy, cool, with a risk of FROST overnight

A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Sunday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 8.0 C with 20 km/h winds out of the west, northwest gusting to 49 km/h.

Too soon. Wayyyyy too soon. (Though, if my basement is any indicator, it’s not entirely surprising.)

Frost. That’s right. Frost. In August. Frost. 2020 keeps on 2020-ing.

Forecasters today are calling for sunny skies and lots and lots of wind. So enjoy that. Tonight, we’re looking at clear skies and a low of just 4 C, which will likely be colder in areas surrounding the city, and with that comes the risk of frost. Frost. Ahhh I can’t believe I’m even saying it. Frost. Ffffffffix Auto.
