A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Friday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 10.9 C with 7 km/h winds out of the west, southwest.
Summer in September is a beautiful yet fleeting thing. We’re still in the first week of the month so it’s nice to see summer temperatures returning just in time for the long weekend but they’re not expected to stick around all weekend.
Forecasters are calling for a high of 23 C today under mostly sunny skies, which is glorious. Just glorious. The clouds are predicted to roll in Saturday and temperatures will dip just below 20 C but that’s still around average for this time of year so no complaints there. By Sunday, the mercury is expected to dip even further to 15 C and by Monday we’re looking at a high of just 12 C.
Today: A mix of sun and cloud. High 23 C. UV index 6 or high.
