One person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries as police look for witnesses and video footage of an early morning hit and run.
Edmonton police responded to reports that a truck hit a pedestrian near 157 Street and 99 Avenue at approximately 4:17 a.m. Friday. It was reported to police the truck fled the scene going west on 99 Avenue.
The 39-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries and the EPS Serious Collision Investigation Section has taken over the case. They are asking anyone who may have seen the crash or have video footage of it to contact them.
Police are asking homeowners in the area to check their security or dashcam footage.
