City police are searching for dash cam footage of a fatal motorcycle crash on Groat Road earlier this week.
Edmonton police were notified of a collision between the motorcycle and a truck just south of 107 Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, a news release said Thursday. Officers learned the driver of the motorcycle was travelling north when he lost control, hit the middle barrier and travelled into the southbound lane where he collided with the truck.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are now asking anyone who has dash cam footage of the crash to contact them, an updated release stated Thursday.
EPS can be contacted at 780-421-3551.
The driver of the motorcycle has been identified online as 46-year-old Darcy Evans.
A memorial ride for Evans is expected to take place this Saturday at 6 p.m. at 7502 Gateway Blvd.
