Edmonton police are releasing images of two people who were reportedly shot at outside a northeast McDonald’s.
Police responded to calls of a shooting in the parking lot near 135 Avenue and Fort Road around 5:20 p.m. on Monday. It was reported to police that a female pedestrian got into an argument with two men who were parked in a designated accessible parking spot, a news release said Friday.
The men began to back their Toyota RAV4 out of the stall when a man, who was a friend of the woman, approached the vehicle. One of the men in the vehicle then reportedly fired a gun at the two pedestrians.
A northeast division officer saw the truck on Thursday and EPS was able to arrest the suspects. They remain in custody and charges are pending.
Police released footage of the two people who were shot at Friday in hopes that someone who has information regarding the alleged shooting will come forward with information.
The woman is described as 20 to 25 years old, white, with long dyed blonde hair. She was wearing white floral shorts and a matching tank top.
The man is described as a 25-year-old indigenous man with a tall thin build. He was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a dark coloured hat.
